oops. sorry guys; I haven't updated in like...forever. uh... been busy... and lazy. :D Anyway... don't think anyone reads this blog anymore... but for those of you who're interested... here's what's been happening the last coupla weeks...

Atlantic City
Yup, as mentioned in the previous post, we went to Atlantic City! :) Twas quite a nice place... didn't really do much "sight-seeing" cos it's only an hour's bus ride from our place and we plan to go back... mostly went SHOPPING! Whoohoo~ yup they had wonderful factory outlets there... Fossil, Guess, American Eagle... cheap cheap! *delirous grin*

Rio Grande
Besides Atlantic City, we mostly spend our off-days at Rio Grande. It's the nearest town to us (10mins bus ride) with normal places... (e.g Handphone shops, KMArt, etc) YES! you heard me, Wildwood is SUCH an ulu place that it doesn't even have those basic shops. haiz. So -anyway- we've been going to Rio Grande for.... Chinese Food! :) Chinese Buffet @ $5.99 is a super duper way to not feel so homesick...

Washington DC
We visited Washington last week. WOw. I love it! *phwoah* it's such a lovely place... everyone is bound by law to keep their buildings/houses old-fashioned looking... so its very picturesque. :D We only had one day though, so we rushed everywhere and managed to cover the Washington Monument/WW2 Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Spy Museum, Smithsonian Museums, Holocaust Museum, Capitol, White House, FBI Building etc and experience a typical roadside hotdog! *yum* Haha, i know, it sounds quite boring... all the memorials and all.... but honestly; the sights are really awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! :D

Work
Obviously, we haven't just been travelling and shopping, we've been working too! Summer hasn't officially started yet so the park is only open on Fri-Sun. SO... during the week we do shitty jobs like cleaning the rides etc... :( The work itself(when the park is open) has been fun though.. thank God i decided to change my job scope (ride operator to PR/Guest Services). Meeting all the peole has been quite an enlightening experience.... and... *bimbo moment* my uniform is so nice! a nice bright turquoise polo T. My supervisor's really great too... friendly and understanding... she even ensures i get the same off-days as the rest (even though we're from different departments...)

General Stuff/House
Hmm... well guess that's about it... life in Wildwood is boring. But i suppose things will pick up once summer draws nearer.... it's been fun exploring around the town (gosh. i really need to learn how to cycle)... and cooking! :D haha i cook nearly every other day now...(taste quite good k!) hmm we're all starting to become more auntie-like... memorizing prices from the different groceries.. *sheepish*

Lastly, i really thank God for seeing me thru all the ups and downs over here... :) Had our first cell group last wk.... and attended a local church on Sunday.... but do keep me in your prayers yarh? that in the midst of all the hustle and bustle, i not lose sight of Him and His purpose for me here.
